Well, I really think your talent with marth can go farther, definately stick with him at least. For the rest, keep doing your contestant mains until you can narrow down some. After that, see which one seems to flow best with you. I personally have to have decent projectiles in order for my combos to work correctly, so theres an example. Some characters just fit your style, too. And if the character flows well with you, use that.

BTW, Like my new userbar? ^^ And also BTW, I promise I'll play with you till your hearts content once I get me wii back. I'll be dying to play someone anyway.

Uhm... anyone whos good at Zelda or Toon Link want to give me tips? I really like those characters so learning some good combos or pointers would be nice. Idk tho all the zeldas I've played on this site I've beaten so if you find vids tell me.

mk.... Well I'll start with Zelda first.

B- Nayru's Love- Shields her from various attacks, and reflects projectiles. If enemy is close enough it hurts him/her. Good interrupter, and good for elbow room.

Side B- Dins fire- Non reflectable, fireball. It goes very far, and the farther you let it go, more damage it does, and more range. I DONT WANT TO SPAM THIS ATTACK! I only really use it when ppl are far away and if they're sent flying.

Down B- Turns to Sheik, (I'm not ever going to use this move)

Up B- Farore's Wind- Zelda teleports. Hard to aim, very predictable sometimes, and very easy to die. Cant go thru stuff. However, it damages enemies near her before and after the move. I use this alot for mindgames.

Up Smash- Multi hit, great attack that sends enemies flying. Very powerful, usually kills at 80%. This attack picks up enemies from the side too!

Down Smash- Great attack! Very fast, sends enemies exactly horizontally very far. I use this tons for room. Huge knockback.

Side Smash- Multi hit, very powerful attack that sends enemies flying. Good range, and sometimes slow to do.

Side air- Lightnight kick!! 20% If sweetspotted, and if not like 5%, and useless. Great kill move. Hard to sweetspot against small targets.

Neutral air- decent, Zelda attacks on both sides of her, and does a little damage. like 3%, per hit. (multi hit move)

Up air- HUGE FIREBALL! Kills at like 70%. Huge damage and knockback. Easy kill move. Hard to land, and people never fall for it when I try to throw them upwards to land it.

Down air- Spike move, but will only land if both enemies in the air. If it doesnt sweetspot, it is useless. I cant land this very well. Hard to do sometimes as well. But if it works, and there isnt ground at the bottom, DEAD.

There you go. This took forever so give me something good.

alright what ur gonna wanna do is get close and short hop ABOVE ur target and do ur B move. the blue shieldy relfector thing but dont hit completely. if i remember correctly u can hit them with the bottom of diagonal shield and it wont knockbackor itll do minimal. land and do ur fast sweep. from there its all improv. wait for them to dodge then do firebolt. thats what i do.

i would just say marth and falco would be your best two.

i would say find your best character and your other mains will follow after
i find i can use very similar playstyles with all my better characters.
this is because they all have movesets that can be very hard to adapt to because they all have invisible ranges

Your Marth can be improved and your Link is actually pretty good to vs against!

What characters give you that heart warming feeling. Think about what game they come from, and who you like the best. (That's more for getting a background check, and to remind you of when you played their games) Play who you like the best, and is the most fun.

I'm starting to hate Link, (playing alot of melee usally)

I'm starting to prefer Zelda but TL is still gonna be my main for now.

Rei, I think you should go with the guys you use most. I agree with Guru. Pick the one (or ones) you're most comfortable with and suits you best
