Aerial Matches...

Hmm...I started playing super smash bros. when brawl came out so i've been playing for like 3-4 months, I guess..but i've noticed in all my matches, i use ground moves mostly and everyone I've played could do aerial moves well, so I need help improving on my aerial skills...any advice or stuff?

learn how to short hop good.

skills needed for aerial matchs are short hop and good reaction time for dodges and the long startup air moves

thanks guy, i think i'm gonna improve alot in like the next month...just so you know, i haven't played super smash bros. games alot...brawl is my only game, so it kinda explains my novice-ness...XD

find out the highest priority ariel moves and use them when you short hop. Such as forward, backward, or neutral.

Aerial Matches can be summed up with one word - er - term: SHFF

Learn how to shorthop (lightly tapping the jump button) and fast-fall (press down at the peak of your jump) well.

yea, that's kinda my prob, usually i see ppl knocking me down when i'm coming back to the stage by jumping up and hitting me downwards...yea, when i try that i always die, i really gotta work on aerial matches and stuff...
