The Truth

Bleah! I take 1 look away from the site for awhile and boom! Huge conversation. Anyways, I do think the site has slightly died down. Here are my agreements/reasons:
1.) The site (thanks Guru for trying to change it now) looks kind of dingy and will cast off a couple members as some backwater site.. we have to make this look offical, fun, and appealing! I personally dont think the current look is.

2.) Many favorite, active, fun members have left because of drama, and discontent. I do wish Zen were here, but I have made this argument up serveral times, and feel that it is settled, and he will not join. As for Brawling Pikachu and RedWar, I felt that they too feel that this site isnt as it was. I agree, and hope that once we make a few changes that Zero and others mentioned, we will recover, and maybe they will come back.

3.) We ARE getting way into the Smash Cards and stuff. No other topic relating to Brawl is close to it. We need to get some good topics going! As a suggestion, We can make a Character Discussion tab, and we can discuss characters, match-ups, and good guides, videos, strategies and the like.

4.) The chat really pisses me off. People here tend to chat in there instead of posting. People are here, but not really talking on the true site. I dont know how to fix this, but I hope we do. Maybe send more fun and things to talk about/do in the actual forum.

HOWEVER: I do see that more members are joining faster than the Dojo had. We got like, what? 10 members in one day? That's fantastic! We should be cheering! We have gotten active, new members, such as Dragoon. I hope that others can be active as well. I want this site to grow and flourish, and I feel for Guru with his active life, and feel we are giving him a hard time. Taz too, even though I dont know the story on that one. I want to ask: Guru? Do you need Taz's consent with everything? I wish you could just agree to talk quick with him on some things, such as my banner being put up, so we can get that done quick.

Sorry about the length, but I really like donating my time to this site, and want it to grow!

Well guys instead of discussing we could... um.. I don't know DO SOMETHING TO CHANGE IT!!! I mean come on guys, all we do is wine all day. Instead of wining to Guru and Taz lets help them and do it ourself. We have a little more free time on our hands so lets help the Admins improve instead of destroying it with pissing and moaning. Everything dealing with Zen is done. Stop dweling on the past and move forward. I think we need to start brawling and posting more. We complain about be weak in brawl and yet do nothing. Now tell me if you see something wrong with this picture. =/

You're the one who brought up Zen I think... anyways, we couldnt do anything yet, because we're members. If we voice our concerns and give select few the power to change the site while Admins are away, then we can change! Rei is right, but I commend Zero for starting this discussion.

I didn't bring up Zen. lol. Second, When I said do it ourselves I meant create these character discussion thread you were thinking of. I was also thinking about this for awhile but didn't know if anyone would be interested . We don't need power to do stuff.

Not just a thread, I meant like a tab. Like Pool Room and stuff. That way It'd be more noticable and easier to access.

Well I'm discussing it with Guru. I'm awaiting his reply.

Why do all these things keep happening under my nose

No intention to leave anyone out. It's just that the reason I'm talking to Guru is that he (and Taz) are the only people who can make the big changes to the Forum. I did not mean to leave anyone out.

It's fine. I just wish they were on when I am... I always "just missed em!". lol..

The Chat Room is a great asset to the site. Although I would like more members to post around the forums, having live chat available makes life a LOT easier for all of us.

Taz and I founded this site as equal partners. We agreed that all major changes and decisions within the site would not occur without the other's knowledge and approval.

I appreciate the honesty and feedback regarding the site. To all the members - it's one thing to realize a problem; it's another to become part of the solution.

Man, lots of progress has been made its looking like! I think we were just focusinf on the bad side rather then the bright side. If you think about it, were doing pretty good for starting all over again. We just need patience I guess.

I am always pretty busy, so sorry that I can't be more active, but I can promise to making at least a couple of posts a day!
