Doc, Reporting for Duty

Hey everyone, I'm Dr_Maniacal (If that weren't completely obvious), but most people just call me Doc. My good friend Raimu linked me to this site a little while ago, he said there were some good Brawlers here, and I thought it looked interesting... so I decided to join up.

Stuff about me: I love Brawl, the Mario series, Most notable FPS's out for the 360 (Halo 3, Bioshock, Gears, you name it) and especially the Legend of Zelda series. *playing through OoT again right now* I'm also a sigmaker, if the sig I'm wearing didn't make that obvious, and amatuer digital artist in my down time.

Oh, and of course, my mains in Brawl include but are not limited to: Bowser, Gannondorf, Pokemon Trainer, Fox, King Dedede, Metaknight, Lucario, Wolf, Wario, and Olimar. I like to switch things up quite a bit. XD My Brawl code is in my sig under mah Bowser banner, and if anyone's curious, there's a link to my DeviantArt page in my profile. Looking forward to meeting all of you (except Raimu, already know him XD), and also looking forward to some good fights later on.

Zephron: lol, that should be interesting. A friend of mine mains Zelda, so I've had a pretty good amount of practice playing against her with Bowsy. Hopefully you'll be a bit better than he is. XD

And nope, not Ryu. His name's Kenshiro, a.k.a. Chuck Norris x20. He's from a really old anime from back in the 80s or something called Hokuto No Ken. If you've never heard of it, then search it on Youtube or something, you won't regret it. Believe me. ;p

I don't think he was in any games... thank goodness. Because if he was, he'd be the most broken, overpowered character there ever was in any fighting game ever. Watch one episode of HNK, and you'll see why. XD

Hey Doc, I have a question. (Of course you do... lol)
I saw your tutorial on that Midna forum. Great stuff btw...
Anywho the question: With all the brushes that are off the internet and stuff, I've found I need to turn the brush in a different direction. Like most of the ones I've downloaded are cool, but are only like stamps or prints that I click to put on... I want to turn the image I brush. Can you do that? Your Bowser sig looks like you did something of the sort.

(btw what do you think of my Zelda one? lol) I used the brushes you linked.
Plus these weird Nordic Runes brush I found.

Prairiedog: Hey. ^^ And Maya? Well, I took the time to download it one day and I have it on my computer, but I never really went in and learned how to use it. Which is something I REALLY need to do, because posing my own character models and stuff for refference would be really helpful to me as an artist.

Zeph: Oh you saw the tut? Out of curiosity, how'd you come across it? (Unless I'm really, really forgetting something, I haven't linked to it on this forum)

But yeah, the question: To rotate your brush, choose the brush you want and go up to Window->Brushes. then in the menu that pops up, click on "Brush Tip Shape", and rotate the little circle thing to turn your brush any way you want it. That's how I do it in CS3... I'm not sure it'd be the same in other versions of Photoshop though, If it doesn't work when you try it, then let me know.
Oh, and the Zelda sig's looking very nice, yay for pop-out effects. XD

Lol. Pop out effects ftw. I will try what you said, but I do have CS2. I dont see why they wouldnt add something that important.

And as for your question, I had asked Raimu to give me a little pointers on how to make a sig, and he gave me the link to your tut. (Lazyness ftw!!)
