TRIPPIN'

How do you avoid tripping? I seem to do it a lot.

if you smash your c-stick, you trip.

How did you figure that out Zero? I trip sometimes... but I smash the C-Stick alot. I only trip like once every 5 matches. Maybe. Of course, I usually only use the down and up c stick.

But like... did you find it out of a website.. experience... friend?
I heard that tripping was random. There are games where my hand isnt even on the c stick and I trip. Sometimes right at the beginning of a match!

lol, you never told me to answer that. I think if you have high percentage you can trip randomly.

Well... alright... I'd really like to know though why sometimes I trip immediately at the start of a match.

when you quickly change directions you trip too.

Tripping is completely random, though they say certain moves can increase your chance to trip, it can happen at any time.

no. it has to be when you quickly change directions. because thats when i seem to trip most i believe.

It can happen when you're just moving and not changing directions. Also some people have claimed that it happened as they went to do a move, though I don't recall that ever happening to me.

well robots can't trip.

and i guess it could happen when you just suddenly go to dash. because i think i've tripped form that also.

Any attempt to dash or pivot has a random small% chance to cause a trip, nothing else affects it.

im pretty sure its not random.. and what is this C stick u guys r talkin about.. do none of you use the wiimote? cheaters!!!!!! anyways i think its partially due to rapid changes in direction and randomness

I use both, GC the most though.
