Obvious-ness...

According to my friends Naks, Rei Kaze, and a couple others, I am very obvious. As in, you know what I'm going to do with Zelda, every battle, every time. This hurts gameplay (Duh) and makes me feel noobish. I really think the only reason I'm decent with Zelda is because a lot of her attacks are high priority. When it hits, I simply continue with the same reaction to that every time. I'm pissed at myself for allowing this to happen. To me, this puts me at the level of noob/spammer. (NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!)

I may be being hard on myself, but those who have played me probably would admit the overall fact is true.

I really, really want to get good at brawl. How does one become less obvious? Improvising? Whenever I do that, I get Pøwned. Help me become better

..Actually it is pretty obvious what your going to do, my Ike is also Obvious but for my marth I learn something every week.

Easy Try to learn new tactics or do late Counters or throw someone off guard. Do Short Hops, use Forward B and make it go far away from your opponent than shoot another quick one right in front of you...because the person is going to run at you. Do a 5hit combo. A, A, TAP DOWN, A, A, A. (Also works for Ike). There are way more tips I could give you but...not so easy to explain.

How..?The Forward B Tactic Was when i learned how to Spam in the first place lol. One very far, one very close and so on. The 5hit combo I learned was from Ike himself.

CJ. Zelda HAS NO 5 hit combo. Well, none I've seen. anyways, I dont want to learn how to spam. I want to learn approaches, I want to learn improv. Plus, the forward B thing you mentioned is a bad thing to try with zelda. And late counters...? I wish she had one lol. Thanks for the help though.. I appreciate your concern.

Lawl. You MAKE the combos.

Can be any A button but it must start with A.
The Forward B doesn't have to be a spam move. Its suppose to confuse the opponent.
Late counters by dodging Right when the opponent touches you DODGE not DODGE ROLL.

Thanks... Cj... And Forward B doesnt quite work with confusing. Its not the best of mind games move. I'd use Up B for mindgames. But everyone tells me thats obvious too, so bleah. As for the Down Dodging... I probably should do that more. But I kind of need to dodge less period. In Wi fi its almost required though.

Whenever I try to not dodge though, I always get hit by the back end of Ike's sword, or spiked or whatever. I really wish I didnt have to get so worked up about this but I hate it if I think I'm decent then realize I'm just taking advantage of Zelda's priority. Ugh!

no way, zephr! Ur not a noob just cause your obvious, many people turn out to be obvious because they use the same gameplay or "style" all the time so dont think like that!

i guess the best way to become better is play other zelda's and see what they do so you can learn from it. i think i have a decent zelda so you can play me if you want. but i suggest just try to find as many zelda's as you can
