Starcraft

Just curious, does anyone play it? (I'm aiming more towards the melee aspect of it, though some

of the custom games are fun)

I do play it, but I don't like it better than Warcraft 3.

I adore that game. I think its equal to WC3. I think the melee is like one of the best balanced things ever, maybe Zerg being slightly upped. I liked the storyline, gameplay, everything.

SC is in my oppinion the best RTS game created so far. It's EXTREMELY balanced, and just brilliantly designed. I'm hoping SC2 will combine the spirit of SC's melee with the spirit of WC3's custom games.

I've never played Starcraft, what's it about, sorry if I sound like a noob!

Real Time Strategy game, pits 3 different races. The easiest way I can think of to describe them is Alien vs Predator, you have the Predator (protoss) aliens (Zerg) and humans (Terran)

The protoss are highly advanced, while the aliens are highly evolved with claws and stuff, and terrans have their own unique stuff. It's an older game but still very popular.
