The King of Smash on Survivor!?!?

Hey Guys, I just got some awesome news! Ken AKA "The Asian Sensation" , King of Smash and Marth <3, will be on the CBS series Survivor XD! It will be called Survivor Gabon. Gabon starts airing September 25 on CBS.



Ken's full name is Ken "SephirothKen" Hoang. Here is some history on him:

"Ken "SephirothKen" Hoang is a name that many of our visitors probably already know. Ken Hoang is the Ken, the player who dominated the Super Smash Bros. Melee scene for many years during its prime, the player considered the best world champion at Melee during the height of his dominance from 2003 to 2006. (And yes, "world champion" is deserved: he twice went to Japan and won major tournaments there.)

Ken's been a little quiet in the Brawl era, staying away from most of the Southern California tournament scene before a surprise appearance at Evo World where he placed second. According to the Wikipedia entry, Hoang was one of 18 contestants selected from over 800 applications to enter the show, which was shot over the summer in Gabon, Africa. The show's already been filmed, of course, and naturally he can't say whether he won... but it should make for an exciting season regardless.
