Suggestions for the new forum

It is hard not to type dojo when refering to this site. I don't know if that would be a good idea or if it would offend people in some way. Anyway, Red here to break in the "Suggestions" page with one of my own. Now I know the site is the "Smash Underground" (emphisis on the underground) but what is with the skulls, dim colors, and graffiti style of writing. I think that the new "dojo," (I use that word lightley just in case) should fit more into the aspects of Super Smash Brothers Brawl and less into the aspects of Crips vs. Bloods.

We have it because of the underground theme. If enough people do complain then we will change it. We want everyone to feel at home here.

I don't really mind but SSBB related logos would be better.

I don't mind it either. But it just doesn't seem to fit what this place was created for. And I wouldn't really call it complaining Taz more of suggesting.

We went with an underground theme because of the history that many of you are aware of. The site's design is still not finished... it's still all work in progress. I do plan to come up with a logo that will incorporate Smash while still venturing into the "underground" theme.

Also, the styles here reflect an urban theme and the "underground rebel" culture from which this style came; it is in NO way any sort of gang symbolization.

At first i was kinda curious with the Skulls and stuff but eventually it grew on to me and i dont mind it anymore.

Do like Mario in a pipe or something. Pipes... sewers.. that's all underground right? It'd be cool if the background was like one of those underground levels in the first mario... just a thought ^^

That's a really good idea, I like it. I did not think of that. As always if we do use that idea, we will be sure to give you credit.

I just thought of it because I have played all the original mario games since I was like 3. I died constantly, but it's been screwed inside my mind... forever! lol

If you do that, amke it look legit. I know it's a classic old school but don't go with the Orginal Super Mario Bros. underground level. Put like a snapshot from the Brawl version freom Mushroomy Kingdom. That would look good.

ehhh i like this background a lot. a mario background wud be kinda... well lame to be honest. this is atleast better than the blinding white background adam had and bloodtsained one zen had. idk i like this one the best pwease dont change it

I dissagree. I like what Redwar said. Don't use the true old school mario, just the brawl underground one. The skulls and stuff, gives it an almost (no offense intended) gothic look. Taz and Guru are trying to make the best ste possible, and this did kinda go with the underground look, but I think It's time for a change. (When they get the time, no rush guys.)
