Melee Character Who Should Have Returned

The end of the year is approaching and we want to highlight everything the good, the bad, and the ugly. We will be giving out awards before the year is over and you will decide who or what will get the awards. Each poll will run for 14 days and after 14 days the two choices with the most votes will then be chosen, then you will pm your votes to either Taz or Rei. All voting ends the 13th of December. The run-off will then end the 21st.

Mewtwo- One of the most powerful in his own universe yet in Melee he sucked ass. Mewtwo was another villain from a diverse universe not a universe where it is solely based on three characters. He was cool to play with, I loved how we would jump and hover over the ground. I just think the moves he had were poor quality and he should make a return one day and actually be good.

Roy- My favorite of the Fire Emblem clique. His neutral B was awesome it was only second to the warlock punch. He was a little heavier than Marth but he seemed a bit stronger as well. He and Marth were mainly put in as advertising for Fire Emblem and his video game sucked. which could be the reason he didnt return.

Pichu- The cute de-evolved form of Pikachu. You couldnt do a special attack with him or you would self-destruct (not really). They say he returned with his alternate costumes to brawl as the "new" Pikachu. Could it be?

I'd say Doc,but since he isn't at this poll,I vote for Roy.Pretty powerful B for edgeguards and heavy tilts.not to mention his Fsmash.

If you want Dr.Mario make a petition thread and if you get people there who vote for Dr. Mario over these three Dr. Mario will be in the Run-off.

Dr. Mario was a clone of Mario. Literally. He had no difference from Mario except he shot vitamins instead of fireballs, had a white cape, & a different taunt.

Mewtwo all the way. I always had a vendetta against Lucario simply because he replaced Mewtwo... all likely as Nintendo's publicity stint for promoting the new-generation Pokemon era.

Dr. Mario was definitely much different than Mario. Not only for the reasons already stated by 2L8 and Zephron, but he also benefited much more from wavedashing and l-canceling. He was heavier, and so harder send offstage. And if I remember correctly, he had the longer cape with the unusual hitbox (it reached noticeably above and below the cape itself).
