My Life (Poem)

A poem I wrote A long ass time ago in a stupid teachers class. I hated that lady so much it was only the first week of school. Anyways she gave me a zero and attempted to throw away my poem but my friend got it for me. So I thanked her and she read the poem, and it goes just like this......


My life is as dark as my shadow........
He's my only friend...........
People lie and beat me.......
I don't know who to trust.......
And when I want to get up they kick me down......
When the moon comes up, my shadow goes.....
I don't wanna live this life....I'm left here all alone.

Your thoughts?

what's up with you? lol.

The diction is ok but both the subject and compisition are lacking. Instead of creating a symbolic ideal you just create a single comparison and go off as though you were writing a semi descriptive sentence. Overall I dont think you deserved a 0 but you did'nt deserve a pass. Hardly a poem.

And my English teacher was annoying...But thanks to him, I-- nevermind...He didn't teach me anything important...If he did, I don't remember lol.
