Some help plz?!

Hey, My wii's AV cord just broke yesterday... Ive read online of some weird crazy tricks to get it working again. Like, since the other AV cords worked on every nintendo system, (for instance, the N64 cord worked for the Gamecube) supposedly if u shave off some of the plastic on the wii around where u plug in the av cord, you can plug in the Gamecube AV cords, and it will work.

if I cant rig any ghetto thing up then im just going to order the cord online. in that case can anyone give me a website where you can buy cords?
