Neutral Stage Debate Topic

This is a Debate where we discuss what neutral stages are. A neutral stage is where u can play a fair match with no stage effects ex: Final Destination. The reason this topic was made is because I have been hearing complaints on Final Destination being the only neutral stage. I'll be glad to hear your ideas on this subject.

The following is a List of Neutral Stages I Thought of:
Final Destination
Smashville
Yoshi's Island
Battlefield
Lylat Cruise (aside from stage tilting)


Counterpick Stages:
* Delfino Plaza
* Luigi's Mansion
* Frigate Orpheon
* Battleship Halberd
* Pokémon Stadium 2
* Castle Siege
* Jungle Japes (Melee)
* Brinstar (Melee)
* Pokémon Stadium (Melee

Final Destination isn't the only neutral stage. I would say FD, SV, YI, BF, and LC are all neutral. The reason being nothing disturbs combat on them. I don't see why Castle Siege isn't when the change of field encourages different gameplay.

I love to play on Pictochat, but the damaging cart, and fire, make that hard to believe it's a neutral stage. I just like the changing gameplay, like what Taz. noted.

i was thinking about shadow moses island and thought made the walls stop people from dying. maybe it isnt a neutral stage? idk

I am going to say that Final Destination is the only legit map for Brawling. It is the only one I play on now and I think the only one that people should play on all the time. That is my opinion however.

A stage is deemed neutral because it contains no stage hazards or other elements deemed "unfair".

The stages commonly accepted by most smash communities are:
Final Destination
Battlefield
Lylat Cruise
Yoshi's Island
Smashville

Castle Seige, Delfino Plaza, and Shadow Moses are walk-off stages that are proven to unfairly favor certain characters with chain-grabs. Delfino has water which ruins Olimar, and Shadow Moses also has walls, which can be used to pull off infinite combos impossible to come out of.

Oh right forgot about chain grabbing. Now I know why Castle Seige is bad.

castle seige has so many visual obstacles. blah. and lylat is basically the anti christ for ness cuz so many diff elevations of land and his projectiles go diagonal. dont think it shud be neutral. right into a higher elevation bump. i wudnt mind playin battle field yoshi island or final destination ^^. o yea lets not forget smashville . but nobody likes lylat. hehehe

Meh, I don't play on alot of stages, only Final Destination and Smashville .

I like Battle feild.

Oh, and I like Battle Field .

My favorite on the list are Smashville and Yoshi's Island.

Edit: Shadow Moses Island, Castle Siege, and Delfino Plaza removed off the list.

i dont like to play fd late at night cuz its a dark course and its depressing. battlefield is much more of a happy fun course ^^ not like depressing old final destination

lol same here but not battlefield... more like smashville or yoshi's island

Final destanation is depressing and boring. Theres absolutely nothing, Battle field is a little better, because of the platforms.

It's true, my best stages with Marth is battlefield and FD , cuz i practice there alot, anyways the list looks good
