Raimu's Brawl Leauge ( RBL Experiment)

Alright, So, I had an idea, and I kinda wanna test it out. Most completive brawl is like any other competitive activity, a series of one-on-one match-ups to determine a winner. So, I thought why not start a league?

What do I mean by league? Heres how its going to work. I'll hold an open sign-up, anybody can join as long as they're willing to put in the time to play the games. After we get members for our league, we start something reminiscent of a regular season in any sport. Each player will have the same amount of matches to play, probably around 30 for the experimental season, could be lower based on how many people sign up. Each player will have a "schedule", since everyones timetables are different, it will be very loose, but you will be required to play those matches by a certain date.

An example of how this will work-

By winning matches (all of which are best 2 out-of 3 rounds), players collect points toward their position in the standings. 3 points will be awarded per match, 3 points for a 2-round sweep, 2 points for winning in the 3rd round, one point for loosing, but still winning a round. I will always keep a thread open for the standings, with a chart showing who ranks where and has how many points.

Basically, my idea is to have players play a lot of games over the span of a few months, everyone is human, we all have slumps, we all play better some days than others, but this format gives you a chance to prove not only your skill, but consistency, too.

At the end of the season, we will have a playoff to determine a champion, again, how this works depends on participation. Playoffs are elimination-style tournaments, but to get in, you have to do well in the season, because only the top 4-8 players will qualify (again, depending on participation.).
